The Ministry of Education’s Ghana Education Service (GES) is a government organization tasked with carrying out policies that guarantee Ghanaians of school-age get quality formal education regardless of their race, gender, handicap, religion, or political beliefs. The GES council, which has fifteen members, oversees the Ghana Education Service.
The National Redemption Council founded the organization in 1974. To enable the efficient execution of its duty to Ghanaian society, it collaborates with organizations and is divided into a number of units.
